Bio
Aaron Whitman is an award-winning saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist, music producer, and educator based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. He has captivated audiences with performances that seamlessly blends jazz, funk, pop, R&B, and contemporary styles, creating memorable experiences for audiences across the country.
Throughout his career, he has shared the stage with acclaimed artists including Sir Earl Toon (Kool & the Gang), Erykah Badu, Tom "Bones" Malone (Saturday Night Live Band), Wayne Bergeron, and Tim Ries (The Rolling Stones), among many others. He has also opened for legendary acts such as Steely Dan, Earth, Wind & Fire, Elvis Costello, and Chicago.
Beyond live performance, Aaron is an accomplished music producer and audio engineer whose original work has been featured in commercials, independent films, and video games. His passion for creating compelling music extends into his home studio, where he regularly collaborates with artists across a wide range of genres.
With nearly 15 years of teaching experience, Aaron is dedicated to helping musicians of all ages develop their technical skills, creativity, and confidence. Whether teaching saxophone, guitar, piano, or music production he combines real-world industry experience with a personalized approach that inspires students to reach their full potential.
