ABOUT AARON WHITMAN
Aaron Whitman is an award winning saxohonist and music producer based in Denton, TX. He performs regularly in the DFW and is very active creating music with other artists in his home studio(Normal House Studios). In the past he has opened for Steely Dan, Earth Wind and Fire, Elvis Costello, and Chicago, and performed with Sir Earl Toon(Kool & The Gang), Erykah Badu, Tom "Bones" Malone(SNL Band), Wayne Bergeron, Tim Reis(Rolling Stones), Gabe Jarrett, and many other music greats.
Aaron studied jazz at Collin College with top tier music faculty. He studied privately with Kevin Mcnerney for saxophone, Pete Weise for guitar, and Susan Ferrer for voice. He played in the top jazz combo and large jazz ensemble and received top soloist accolades at all of the large jazz festivals the school attended. Aaron later attended The University of Texas at Arlington and played tenor sax in the top jazz combo, large jazz ensemble and the top classical ensemble. He studied saxophone privately with Tim Ishii.
As an educator Aaron has taught all different age ranges in private and public schools.
Aaron has also worked with some great talents over the last few years in bringing their studio projects to life. He has worked on all genres of music, and plays several instruments to help solo artists sound like they have a full band!
